Residents deserve roads that are safe, well-maintained, and built to support our growing community. That means continuing to improve road conditions, advocating for safer intersections, adding crosswalks and traffic signals where they’re needed, and addressing concerns like flooding, drainage, and shoulder erosion. It also means continuing to push for long-overdue improvements to Third Line and Fourth Line.
Heavy truck traffic doesn’t belong on neighbourhood streets. Dianna will work with Town and County partners to explore practical solutions, including a truck bypass using Tottenham Road or other suitable routes, to improve safety, reduce congestion, and protect the quality of life residents enjoy.
Strong communities need welcoming places where families can gather and children can play. Dianna supports upgrading neighbourhood parks, improving playground safety with rubberized surfaces where appropriate, exploring opportunities for a community splash pad, and expanding recreational opportunities for children, teens, adults, and seniors alike.
Growth should strengthen our community; not outpace it. Dianna believes new development must be balanced with the infrastructure, services, and amenities residents rely on every day. She will advocate for thoughtful planning that protects Tottenham’s character while supporting local businesses and ensuring every neighbourhood benefits from responsible growth.
The best decisions come from listening. Dianna believes residents should always have a voice in the decisions that affect their neighbourhoods. Whether it’s over coffee, during a walk through the community, at local events, or by phone, she is committed to being accessible, approachable, and engaged; not just during an election campaign, but throughout her time in office.
